Next watch mod ready to go!
Both of these are from AliExpress, so not much money into them both, about $31 total. I really enjoy wearing the watch, but after wearing it for a bit, I realized the hands are hard to read. Not a big difference in length between them, and when the silver part is over the black dial, sometimes all you can see is the lume strip, which is the same length on both hands, just slightly fatter on the hour. But I found the pocketwatch that uses the same movement, although with automatic works, so the pinions are the same, easy peasy for the swap. So when I'm done, I'll have cathedral hands on my open heart watch, should look great! I'll post pics when I get out finished, although it might be a few days before I have time to do it.
Used to collect cheap and weird digital watches when I was young. Now I've moved on to mechanical watches. I also like modding them, especially the cheap ones!
