Maen Brooklyn 36 Triple Calendar Review

I recently acquired the Maen Brooklyn 36 Triple Calendar, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This timepiece embodies the perfect blend of style, functionality, and craftsmanship.

First and foremost, the design of the Maen Brooklyn 36 is simply stunning. Its classic, minimalist aesthetic is a timeless choice that complements both casual and formal attire. The slim profile (at just over 12mm including crystal) and 36mm case size make it versatile and suitable for various wrist sizes. The stainless steel case and sapphire crystal glass not only add to its durability but also give it a luxurious feel.

Durability is something I value in a timepiece, and the Maen Brooklyn 36 doesn't disappoint. It feels robust, well-weighted and well-constructed, giving me confidence that it will stand the test of time.

The attention to detail in the Maen Brooklyn 36 is evident in every aspect of the watch. The furniture on the beautifully finished sunburst dial has a stunning sheen when the light kisses the face of the watch, and the textured sub-dials provide nice contrast and legibility when reading the time. The dial and hands are also coated with Super-LumiNova, which provides decent visibility in low-light conditions. The jubilee style bracelet that accompanies the watch is not only comfortable to wear but also adds a touch of elegance.

Maen's packaging is also something worth mentioning. For a piece under $1,000, the Brooklyn 36 comes with a surprisingly nice leather watch roll that competes with the best of them. It’s a welcome accessory that I will continue to use and enjoy.

In summary, the Maen Brooklyn 36 is a fantastic watch that offers exceptional value for its price. Whether you're a watch enthusiast or someone looking for a high-quality, everyday timepiece, this watch deserves serious consideration. Its combination of style, accuracy, and durability makes it a standout choice in the world of watches. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I highly recommend the Maen Brooklyn 36 to anyone in search of a reliable and stylish companion for their wrist.

I love the looks and overall fit and finish but there is ONE sticking point I cannot get by and that is the Triple Date Movement, I can't stand that movement and it's the breaking point for me. If there was a regular 2 dial chrono in it, I would have one.

Ahh man, I love this complication! A chrono would be nice but it would prob cost double the price. Maen has a very nice chrono though if that's your jam.
