If you are proud of your watches, then don't apologize for them. If you are embarrassed by that Calvin Klein watch, then get rid of it. Otherwise, enjoy it!

I’d sell it for cash and just get one $2-3000 watch and then pocket the extra for something else in the future. But that is only if you just look at the watch as a placeholder for transferrable value. To me, Rolexes now just represent another form of less-liquid cash.
If it is much more special than just its cash value, then keep it. You’ll have a couple thousand bucks in a few months to buy a new watch anyway.

So your watch smells funny, it makes your skin tingle due to allergic reaction, and you don’t like all the writing on the dial. Why do you rate it so high and why do you keep it? Seems like a horrible watch for you.
I’d let my wife decide. She’ll have a watch in her head that she hopes you’ll get. You’ll both love it more if you both shop together and she subtley lets you know when the right one is pulled out of the display case.
My Citizen Navihawk AT Blue Angels. I don’t like wearing it anymore because it is massive at 48mm, but it stays by the rest of my watches so I can set them with it as the reference.
Hamilton khaki auto. Seiko 5 diver. Victorinox INOX. Tissot PRX. Any San Martin or Pagani Design.
Tbh, if they aren’t into watches yet, I’d get them each an Invicta Pro Diver automatic ($50-100USD). Whatever color scheme you like. They look great, have a nice see-thru caseback, solid specs, and you won’t have wasted your money if they never actually end up wearing them.
Or just get some cool pocket knives. That’s what I’d want as a groomsman.
