Im sure the fit, finish, and movement are much better on the Zenith but it does look like a Tissot.  Though the Tissot also looks like a lot of Genta designed watches.

Beautifully unimaginative. I freaking love what Zenith does, but why did they have to jump onto the ”blue dialed/angular bezeled/integrated steel bracelet“ bandwagon with everyone else? I’m sure this example is nothing short of their typically designed brilliance, but how are they differentiating themselves? a subdial at 9, and funky waffle spacing…same blue, steel sports watch (it comes in black or white too. yawn).

Sorry not sorry, I expect more out of Zenith than forcing out a stopgap model. Seems to me they usually like to break the design mold a little, and don’t mind getting a little adventurous. But business is business and I guess they don’t wanna leave any money on the table 😕

Based strictly on the photos I've seen of the Defy Skyline, I certainly don't feel any compelling urge to rush out and buy one. It may look better in person, but based on the photos I don't think it would be able to nudge it's way into my top 1,000 watches.

As a brand, I think they have some pretty interesting technology in the Defy line, but nothing that I can see ever adding to my collection. I could see myself adding the new Chronomaster Sport to my collection, but I'd want to be able to try it on my wrist before making that decision. I've been tempted by other Zenith chronos in the past, but have been turned off by the overlapping sub dials.

I think the watch looks good and fits the steel sports trend going on right now.  My biggest problem with it is that small seconds hand goes around once very 10 seconds instead of once per minute.   That just seems gimmicky to me on a non-chronograph watch.

Either keeping your eyes busy, or dizzy so to speak lol

I like it, first time i laid my eyes on the picture and aesthetically i love it. I prefer tge black dial version though. Now i had myself calm down, gotta see it in on wrist before i can confirm that.

The small second, it might not be a pleasing factor to some. I actually prefer something like that, having a bit visual unbalancing occasionally can be nice, but @watchfan mentioned, i do prefer a normal 60 sec run.

Another question to myself is that do i really want a watch with integrated bracelet, in particularly out of 95% of the time i d be sporty my watches in rubber strap.

Wait, wut now? I didn't realize that sub second dial was only ten seconds.... That's.... Actually mildly interesting, but is it practical or useful? No, and it doesn't sway me.
