First serious watch purchase of 2024…

I ALMOST made it through January. Not quite. My first watch of the year is my first ever vintage watch and it’s one from my birth year. A Tudor Prince Oysterdate. I will ask the the wrist/watch size purists among you be gentle as I really do prefer a dress watch to be of a more traditional size and I’m absolutely in love with the way this thing wears.

Thank you! Pictures don’t do it justice it’s a handsome beast.

Beautiful. I'm eyeing daydates and datejusts from Tudor that were produced a few years ago. Unfortunately Tudor discontinued these. They were still selling them in the Asian market up to a few years ago. Wear in good health.

Thank you my friend! Happy hunting!

Interesting coincidence. Yesterday Marshal of Wrist Watch Revival published a new video where he is restoring a vintage Tudor Oyster Prince. Interesting video. Take a look at insides of a watch similar to yours.
