Did some battery swaps for my fathers 92 year old friend and found a new moment for his Microma which was dead. That one was hard to find. Apparently it shares the movement of an old Brietling Navitimer. The band is worn out. Put a spare aligator one on it till new gold one shows up. The Seiko H449 has a chipped crystal. Going see if I can find a new one for it. Already replaced the battery on that one too. Positive note getting better at putting hands on watches. Practice makes perfect.

Must be pretty satisfying to feel like you’re breathing new life into these old pieces. Well done.
That Microma is epic! I think I need to grab some vintage 70s piece for my collection.
