Bulova lunar pilot the watch that mistakenly landed on the moon.

On the Apollo XV lunar mission in 1971, the astronaut Scott dropped the crystal of his Omega, so he had to use his Bulova to time some things and that's where the idea of this tribute was made.

Great watch and backstory

I am so tempted to pick up the reduced sized Lunar Pilot especially since it has a quartz (which has a lot more of a grab and go quality than my Speedy) though I think the Bulova watch on the moon probably had a Valjoux mechanical movement.

Cool story.

Great watch! Love that bracelet version!

Here's mine on a nato. This watch is a strap monster!

Enjoy that watch!

Cheers!

I was very tempted to update mine for that version, but I didn't because I really like this one a lot and secondly because the price seemed too high for the same watch and I also have this one in the all black version.

I love people who play with the straps of their watches, I really don't dare so much, but without a doubt it is something that I should start doing. Congratulations

I’m wearing mine today, albeit the no-date polished version. I don’t wear it often but it’s such a nice watch.
