Opinions please??

It's always said, buy on the bracelet and add straps as and when. I've always stuck to this in the past, especially due to resale value if I ever decide to sell the piece later. I'm drawn to this piece on the straps, more than the bracelet. I still like the bracelet. Reviews say the bracelet is decent for the money. It is quick release and has a micro-adjustment. I kind of feel that a field watch looks better on straps or a nato, rather than a bracelet. Part of me feels I should still buy on the bracelet and buy the additional straps as well. Opinions please!!??

The other option is to buy on the canvas and buy the leather strap too, or vice a versa. I would add a nato too at some point.

I think CW straps are decent money, so I would probably wear those. I do the same with more expensive pieces.

That's why I'm torn on the bracelet, as I probably won't wear it, but it maybe easier to flip should I decide to later. 🤔

Always, always, buy an OEM bracelet if available -- if you don't go for it, there's a good chance that you won't be able to pick it up separately later.

I just went through the same exercise with the C65 Dune GMT and decided to go with all three: the bracelet, canvas strap, and a leather strap. 😬

Yeah, that was my original thought. They are all in my basket and have been for a while. Finger is on the trigger!

Always purchase with the bracelet if available in my opinion. I unfortunately have learned this the hard way.

I prefer most watches on a strap (leather, rubber, fabric), but think a Speedmaster deserves its bracelet (still looks great on a black leather strap).

But you seem to like bracelets more, do buy it that way and add a strap later.

Always buy on OEM bracelet. Straps are MUCH cheaper to add on

I'd be guided by how you feel. If you don't think you'd be into the bracelet, and particularly if it's adding an unwanted premium to the watch, then go with a strap from the start. As for, "What if I want to sell it?" do consider that many people will feel like you, ie: they won't want it on bracelet, either. So, in this example, I'd go without. I may suggest different in another scenario, with different parameters, but not here.

Usually I would say buy on the bracelet but CW make it easy enough to buy the bracelet afterwards and they don't over charge like most highstreet brands so you can always buy at a later stage. It doesn't seem to make any difference in price i.e the bracelet fee for including with the watch is the same as buying separate.

I did vote buy on a bracelet + straps though, their bracelet and clasp looks really good and they are all quick release, field watches on bracelets are not common so having the option is really good IMHO.

Yep, exactly my thoughts. Bracelet are well above average at that price point. I also agree that they're not overly expensive to buy later if I chose to.

I think I will go with bracelet + strap (or straps), as I do like the versatility of both.

You can't go wrong when you buy on the dedicated or original bracelet. Straps, Nato or otherwise are normally interchangeable between different watches. Can't say that for bracelets. So yes, please buy on the bracelet in priority then you can take your time on the straps.
