Best spring bars UK??

Can anyone recommend decent spring bars in the UK?

Also what thickness do fellow crunchers recommend?

I'm aware that certain thicknesses will not be compatible with certain bracelets. Not looking to use with bracelets.

Just the following:

  • Single pass natos

  • Normal natos

  • Leather straps

  • Rubber straps

You can order decent spring bars from Cousins.

Horotec Rolex style spring bars are good. Code S52685 are the 1.8mm

Lots more available on the site from different brands.

Another option would be to pop to an Omega Boutique and ask for a few as the omega bars are considered the gold standard.

Thanks buddy. I appreciate that.

I have used Cousins before for my Bergeon tweezers.

I'm going to pop into see my AD tomorrow for a coffee, so I may see if they have any spares.

Thanks again!

They give out free springbars? This could be the closest I get to an Omega on the wrist…

I have had decent luck with various from Amazon, sometimes they are relatively pricey, but if you hunt around you can find a good selection. I highly recommend having some thick (or jumbo as they are sometimes called) at 1.8 even 2mm to raise a NATO high, and some curved for when you want it lower and sleeker. Omega use curved ones on their pre-fit NATOs I believe.

Only downside is you might end up like me trying to polish between the lugs on some watches…

I have bought from Zuludiver and Watch Geko both UK based and linked companies before with good results. They sell small plastic containers with 10 bars I got some 18, 20 and 22 mm for stock.

Only I (and other watch nerds) could turn a relatively simple acquisition, into a complex mission, with no end in sight..........🙈🤣
