Bambino V2 short Review

Another airport, another tiring day, another friend on my wrist. As I mentioned in my last Seiko review, this amazing watch was gifted to me, in one of the best days of my life.

The truth is that this watch doesn't need any introduction to

the old watch dogs, but I will give a few general info for the newer guys.

  • 40.5 mm case diameter

  • 11.8 mm thickness

  • 44.3 mm lug to lug

I will be honest. This watch is a bit big for my wrist ( not that I care... ), especially if we keep in mind that it is a dress watch. The inhouse F6722 caliber is a bit noisy, but runs really great ( mine is at + 4 secs per day at the moment). The strap looks amazing, but the quality is a little bit disappointing. So far, this review probably makes you believe that this watch is very average. Well, it is not. It is amazing! The mesmerising crème dial is one of the best in the market and undoubtedly the best below 1000$€. Roman numerals are sooo sexy, I kind of have a fetish... The mineral crystal (🥲) is shaped perfectly and highlights this dial. This is a watch that I keep staring for no reason. Sometimes I forget to check the time because of its brilliance...

In my point of view, V2 is superior than its cousins. The dial is more elegant and if Orient ever decides to fix a couple its

flaws (which are very reasonable at this price range), this watch can be rereleased with a much higher price.

Side note : I will buy it again if this gets a 38mm brother in the future...

Do I recommend it? Hell yeah... Grab one as soon as possible, the prices are going up!

I am thinking of getting a bambino for myself too. Can’t decide whether to go for the white dial or the one you have . Either way , I am waiting for them to be one sale as in singapore a bambino retails for around $330 which is too expensive for me.

Pull the trigger, white is my second favourite. Good luck finding one on sale... It's a bit rare with Bambino's 🫠

This is the only watch with Roman numerals that I would like to own.

I used to own that exact watch. I have a 6.5” wrist and ended up selling it for the 38mm bambino. I gotta say, I don’t regret the decision at all.
