Micro luxury

As I put the ostrich strap on I couldn’t help but wonder, is a step into the luxury brands really worth that much more. At 3x the price what more would you get.

Now I have been looking at Longies Rado and Oris for my next step, as far as luxury and can’t help but think what do I gain. A Swiss or in-house movement, not going to lie I love that 9000 series movement I have right here Easy to service lots of parts in the market and cheap to replace if needed. Finishing honestly I don’t think to many brands can do better than Wise. I’m just saying if I’m ever lost and need to be found I hope I’m wearing this cuss you can bounce some light with it.

This doesn’t mean I’ll never go to luxury but maybe I will just wait and save up for that Omega Bond 007 or a Tudor Blackbay pro or even a Rolex explorer 2 with the arctic dial. What do you guys think?

That is a beautiful and interesting dial there

Congratulations, I've been waiting to see the AD15 pop up here. It's the smallest mens case they make too. Looks beautiful!

I am both awed and repulsed. The dial is something but I can't get past the over gold appearance. I think it's strayed from its purpose.

For me it is a special event watch. I bought it as I am going to be officiating my friends wedding. And so with that purpose in mind I think it would be great. I look at it as a very special watch and not a going out watch.

Very nice! Lovely patterned dial! Color is amazing too

Wise choice for the occasion. This watch isn't for me, because even my two-tone diver is too ostentatious for my wife's taste, but I love the shape (got an AD7 myself) and the finishing. The Miyota 9000 series movement is great too, albeit a bit loud.
