From a green SPRD to a Batman GMT in a few very simple mods. I already had a domed crystal, which is a must.  The NH34 can be had for ~$60 or less if you’re patient, ceramic 24 hour bezel ~$18, GMT hand ~$8, I used the original hands but had to slightly tweak the hour hand to make it tighter.  Only hard part is stacking the hands so they don’t touch as they sweep.
