Do people notice a Rolex watch?

generally there is no in-between. Yes, people will notice when you wear a Rolex. And, in my opinion, people who matter will notice for all the WRONG REASONS. Rolexes are well-made Swiss watches with a reputation for quality and exclusivity.

Karaoke is a popular pastime in South Korea, and one of the most beloved spots to partake in this fun activity is the famous 길동노래주점,가락동노래주점

I noticed that the people who notice my Rolex are those who are into watches, and those who take time to notice what you're wearing in general (could be brand-conscious people or people who just want to size you up if you're worth their time or not- also, I hate this kind of people).

Unbelievable! A negative evaluation because of my watch and not because of the job I did. Fortunately, the negative evaluation got revoked, since it had nothing to do with my skills and my job scope. I never saw her after that.

I have a Rolex because I like the design and it's durable. I'm not a watch snob and I have cute watches from flea markets that I wear to work sometimes because I like the color or design. People are just so weird sometimes.

There may be a cultural aspect to it. Where I live I hardly ever get close enough to somebody to be able to make out the specific type of watch. Any comments on a watch I received were from family or friends.

Any luxury brand might create mixed reactions, but Rolex is of course very recognizable. In the end it is all about what you would like to communicate to somebody noticing you. I agree that many Rolex watches have a traditional design that is widely recognized, and I would also agree that they are reliable.

However, a reliable mechanical watch can be had for a lot less, so choosing a Rolex is indeed a statement.

Depends the Rolex, but it will stand out. Most people see Rolex not as a watch but as a Rolex, which drastically changes their perception. Plus unlike Omega, Seiko, holy trinity etc, everyone has heard of Rolex

Not gonna lie i want just one Rolex most likely a mk2 explorer

·

My experience over many years is that non watch people think that anything with a black dial, steel bracelet and elapsed time bezel is a Rolex.

I've worn my GMT nearly every day since the beginning of 1984. After thinking about it, I'd have to guess that I got maybe one or two comments a year.

Of course, I lived 3/4 of that time in the Midwest US, so perhaps people care less here...

I get a comment three maybe four times a year. I am around more eatch nerds than the average person. That Rolex looks amazing on your wrist. Great watch! Insay wear what you love

·

Worn Rolex watches in rotation with my other watches and only ever been asked about my Bremont U22,I think the only people interested in what you're wearing are watch enthusiast and muggers

Call me skeptic, but this post rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. It just doesn't feel right. Promoting a Korean website for karaoke on a watch forum.

Then I saw your only other comment on an earlier post about a newly purchased longines and guess what? promoting the Korean website and talking about what? Yes, you guessed it, Rolex! A comment that has no relation to the original post at all. Reminding me of the scams we get on WhatsApp or the random texts from scam numbers pushing for something.

Please correct me if I'm wrong

It’s hard not to notice a Rolex, their designs are flashy and the crown is very recognisable logo.

The only thing hard not to notice is the spam in the middle of the OP's topic.

Looks like a cut and paste job ✂️🤷
