First time experience buying a Pagani from China. What should I expect at the Canadian borders? I'll have to pay extra taxes? How will this work? I'll have a email to pay with credit card?
Thanks for any informations concerning this delivery!
Can't wait to see this homage of the Longines spirit. The reviews were generally very positive and got a good price for it. Just hoping it won't cost to much at the Canadian borders.
This will be my first try at an Chinese homage.

Did it not say VAT included in the price? It does for EU, UK, US, so I assume its the same for Canada.

Hmm 🤔 I didn't see that mentioned anywhere... I'll double check. I speak French. May you explain what VAT means please?

VAT is sales tax.

You will be charged duty and brokerage by the shipping company. I bought a Seagull 1963 a few years back and I believe the shipping company sent an email with a link to pay the fees.
These days there are a lot of scam emails about package delivery fees, so be extra careful.
In Canada we have various version of HST(Harmonized Sales Tax), PST(Provincial Sales Tax), and/or GST(Goods and Services Tax) depending on which province you reside in, as well as customs duties.
It might get hit with duties when it enters Canada.
Although I brought a Seizenn from Merkur's website directly and it didn't get hit with Duties at all. Labeled as watch with a $40 value.

Did you pay for something extra at payout? Or just the watch and that's it?

I live in eastern Kanuckistan and a year ago purchased a Pagani Design PD-1701v3 from Aliexpress ... took roughly a month to arrive (in perfect condition I might add) to my mailbox and I wasn't charged a penny over invoice ... no duties, taxes or anything! 👍

I'm hoping that it will be the same here!
How is the pagani so far? Thanks for your help!
You're welcome!
The PD-1701v3 has been fantastic! "Speedy" looks for a fraction of the price of an actual Omega ... looks great and has been flawless! The PD is a great budget watch ... looks fantastic on the brown leather strap I swapped in too! 👍

Very nice watch congrats! The Pagani homage of the Longines really interested me by the few good reviews I've seen so far so I'm very curious to try it out! My first attempt at a Chinese watch from Aliexpress. For the price I paid I think i won't be to disappointed! Cheers! ⌚
