Happy with the state of your collection?
Hello my fellow crunches, am I the only one who will go from loving your collection - unhappy with it in a matter of weeks? I currently have 11 watches (10 in box, 1 on wrist). I definitely want to keep the number at 11. I recently traded a watch I was really happy with (Hamilton Viewmatic) for the Oris ChronOris. Eventhough I was very happy with the Hamilton, I saw this as an opportunity to get into an entry level luxury brand.
It's been a few days now and I'm not sure if I'm loving the Oris the same way that I did the Viewmatic. Don't get me wrong the Oris is an excellent piece, you can yell the quality and finish is there, but idk I just feels like it wears too small for a sports watch.
This has in-turn made the collection feel off and now I'm thinking about making other changes as well.
So what I'm really asking is, how often do you guys go from happy with the collection to "something needs to be tweaked"?

Building a collection of 10 keepers. No interest in going in and out of watches. So far at 8.

I'm learning how to do that, but it's hard with the more affordable ones, I just buy them right away. One watch I've wanted for a while is a Zulutime, and that's because it's 3k. Lol
Very happy with my collection and never felt differently. Only ever felt I wanted to add to it but I'm reaching a point of contentment. I don't need anymore but the only tweak would be adding one or two. In a decade I may trade a few to go upstream.
Sadly, a collection is only complete once we've died.

Oh I love my collection but I always want 2 or 3 more. Current number is 13. And that’s in 13 months. So I’m a compulsive buyer but I’m trying damn hard now to not get anything more - but I know I need 3 more. The good thing these are the 3 most difficult and crazy expensive. So hopefully will space them out over a year. Fingers crossed.

Always evolving, always improving, always a climb up the tiers. Pretty content, just a few to flog and a couple more to get.....😂
