Q: How did you get into watch collecting?

I have always liked watches, buying my first watch at around 18years old. But I started really collected , as an enthusiast, after stumbling on the YouTube watch community i.e. Teddy Baldasarre etc...

Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?

Casio G-Shock is the first watch I remember purchasing for myself.

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?

I have a "novelty" watch I purchased from a local jewelry store back in the U.S. Virgin Islands back in like 2012. The watch has the 3 main islands that make up the Virgin Islands on it. I bought that watch to commemorate me moving to Florida to attend Architecture school. It's a diver style chronograph watch, it's honestly a horrible investment. Its a trash watch, but It helps me remember a big part in my life and it also makes me think n of home. I don't wear it anymore, but I still hold on to it for memories...

Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?

Fight impulse buys, because selling used watches will typically end up in a big loss. Save your self the money and headache.

Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?

I haven't been looking into a particular brand, but more so a particular esthetic.

Q: What is your grail watch and why?

My grail as of right now is a Cartier de Santos. I just love to look of the watch. Love the 2 tone, the Roman numerals, the square look and I love the fact that it is a versatile watch that can be worn in dressy occasions and casual as well.
