What will YOU confess!?
Sunday seems an appropriate day for a confessional. A real opportunity to unburden myself with an unflattering admission.
Mine is a transgression of a norm so basic to our community that it reveals just how underwhelming I am despite all my online locker room bluster.
Perhaps I peeked at girthy others and didn't really want to know how mine measured up. I spent time twisting it to and fro while giving it a flex but not once did I give it over to the ruler or the tape.
I suppose as long as I didn't know for sure then I was free to invent any grandiose number and hadn't I gotten along just dandy all these years without really knowing?
Where It Fit Is Where I Put It seemed a fine strategy bordering on lazy genius.
But still there was that tugging desire to know myself better. Why in photos did it look unfamiliar, as if it belonged to another, an unimpressive other? Pale and hairy.
I'm hoping others also feel free to unburden themselves here. To review and reflect on those moments where one's prowess and expertise perhaps fell... a little short.
I'll go first to grease the way and make it easier for others. Here's the truth. An unflattering truth. Today was the FIRST time, yes the VERY first time that I ever measured my wrist!

I prefer in person gatherings over social media dialog and have a soft spot for vintage watches.

My wrist is 7.25 inches which seems to be average-ish. That’s funny because I always thought I had tiny wrists, but apparently not. Whatever.

I have to confess…I’m a cheap ass when it comes to stuff for myself. My love of deals and value means I will never get a luxury watch. It is a problem. I’m trying to convince myself that a luxury watch CAN in fact, be great value.

From what I see, you're(7"5/8th) above average(7"1/4) in terms of size. I'm quite sure no one has ever complained about it before. Let me remind those who aren't as well endowed. It is not how big it is but how it is used. If you feel you are lacking in that department, there may be solutions for you. The internet is a good place to start looking for options. Googling terms such as (not limited to) may be helpful:
- Enlargement
- Growth
- Increase in size
- Amplification

Alright, coming clean and just modified my wrist size to reflect 6.50 (from 6.75”)! While at it, changed my height on my DL to truthful 5’5” (from 6’7”)
