SOTC for the end of 2022

As the year draws to a close I thought I'd do a quick overview.

I don't think I realized how many I actually had...

Here are my favorites:

Citizen Series 8- my wife surprised me with it for Christmas and it's really nice.

Image

Ball Fireman Nightbreaker - my first "grail" purchase and it's really loved up to my hopes.

Image

Hamilton KFA- this was my former favorite watch and the one that has the most wrist time this.

Image

36mm personal build- I've had several builds on this one and I think the current version is my favorite.

Steinhart Ocean One 39- I'm thinking the Mido will knock this one down a peg but for now that's the dive watch I teach for first.

It's a great watch, if I hadn't got the ball it'd be on the shirt list of favorites.

This is SOCT 2023. Half of them were purchased in 2022. PRX, HAMI, Seiko GMT, Moonswatch. The lastest purchase is the G-Shock DW-5600E that is the cheapest -at$50- and most vintage available, it wears small for todays standards. Already took it to the beach with no issues. The yellow Victorinox is a 39mm quartz, on loan from my brother. Will get a yellow dial soon if I can.

On 2023. a mid tier luxury--- Longines or Tudor., maybe a vintage Rolex- At 15 pieces is where I want to be; So in 2022, I let go of a Timex weekender to my nephew and a Citizen Chandler to my brother to thin down.

YOU my friend are in a colorful dial path!!! Keep going. I would get a Junghans and a Sinn to scratch the german itch...the Braun did not doi it for me, although I like it.
