King Seiko reissue. They're $1700 MSRP but can be haggled down to $1500.
The Seiko Sharp Edge line is one of the best and most pretty for around 1K
Check akso for Frederique Constant Classic models
In my opinio Limes makes a whole lot of whatch for their money. It's traditional german manufacturer and supplier with their own brand. Except the movement everything is inhouse manufactured in high details.
I paid £1300 for my Quartz Omega Aqua Terra from eBay
