Are Festina Watches good?
Hello Chrunchers, hope you all have a great day. Today I have another question. In a lot of my local stores I see watches of the brand Festina. They are not expensive and swiss made (although I know that this is not a big guarantee for something). My question is are they good in their price level? Thanks for your time and help.

I’m not familiar with Festina‘s lineup but I think you’ll find them in that same vein as Fossil or Invicta. They mostly have quartz-based movements I believe. I happen to have one that I acquired as a 10-yr corporate anniversary gift. You know when from an impersonal corporate rewards site that gives you 1000s of "gift" options? Yeah one of those but because I liked watches and always thought it was cool that companies used to give out watches for tenure, its what I chose. Circa 2009-ish. You can see the brass rectangle on the bracelet where they affixed my former company’s logo.
Had to do a little digging to find it again, but I wore this Festina all through high school.
My parents gifted it to me for Christmas and I absolutely loved it as I was really into cycling at the time… Lance Armstrong (pre-downfall) was just crushing it in the Tour de France and Festina was the official time keeper (also made me love the watch even more because of the yellow accents as a tie in to the Maillot Jaune). Maybe I should clean it up and throw a new battery in it to see if it still ticks!
