New watch! Omega Speedmaster Mk 40
I just got this in today and it's even better in person. I had seen this watch online before but never really paid that much attention to it. I recently saw this up for sale and when I looked into it more, I really fell in love with it.
The triple date feature is done so creatively and in this smaller 39mm case it's just perfect. There are a couple of things I've noticed off the bat that'll take some getting used to though. For one, there's no highlighted minute markers between the 5 minute markers. Two, it's a little tricky when adjusting the time to where I've accidentally jumped the date forward and as far as I can tell, I can't shift it backwards. Minor things for me, but I'll get used to it. Overall I'm very happy with this watch. I need to keep a closer eye on Omega's back catalog for other neo vintage gems. The 2254.50 is one of those that's on my radar already.

Thanks! I wasn't familiar with the Mariner. Just looked it up and that case design is very cool. Nice bracelet style too. Congrats to you too on the new incoming watch!
