What kind of straps would go with this gilt dial?

Good day everyone,

I stumbled across this rather cool-looking "Slim Turtle" while browsing the web.

I have never worn or seen this combination of "gold"?(I think it might be called "gilt?" and I think it looks really cool. (Kind've gives off almost "vintage" vibes to me but not sure that is the right word.)

Because I have no experience with this style: I thought it would be fun to ask you veterans out there, what style/colour of straps would pair well with this watch? (yes yes I know it is all subjective but just indulge me :) )

(All credit goes to "monochrome-watches.com" for the fantastic pictures)

The stock Seiko rubber straps are great…I have them on the two Turtles I have

If it's in the budget, Artem is the best.

A sleek watch deserves a sleek strap so I would suggest an MN style strap from Erika's Originals. The unobtrusive style of the elastic strap would compliment the streamlined profile of the slim turtle very nicely.

Straps from Nick Mankey Designs would also look great. These are a more affordable alternative, but you'd most likely have to wait at least 8 weeks from the time you order one to the time it arrives in the mail. The lead time is rather long. I own a pair though, and I can attest that the quality is worth the wait.

Whoa, they look great. Do you think a dark brown leather straps could work? I think the gilding could make the watch "dressier" than others.

The gilt deffinatly makes it dressier and i find that the colours work well with a great variety of straps depending on what you want to lean into, the dressier side or the more sporty side 😁👍 Love that Seiko BTW 😍

I'm not a leather on diver kind of guy (honestly I'm not a diver kinda guy) so I'm probably the wrong person to ask.

I don't really lean into the dress diver aesthetic so I end up going much more toolish on the occasions that I wear a diver.

Tonally, I might go for a more honey colored leather to highlight the gilt accents but YMMV.
