Taking It Back! What Was Your First?!

Today I am taking it back to the first watch I bought! Well one of two that I bought in the same day.

I got in to watches just over a year ago and since then I have come to collect a decent amount of watches for a beginner including what I consider two of my “grail watches.” From #Orient and #Seiko to my grails, #Omega I feel blessed to get to wear them.

The first two watches I bought were two Bambino’s including this great white dial bambino with dark blue indices.

This brings me to ask; WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST WATCH AND DO YOU STILL HAVE IT?

Seiko 5 and yes I still have it. It is now 42 years old and yes I'm that old that I purchased this one brand new, I was 15 at the time and saved my money and my parents chipped in the rest because they new how much I wanted this watch.

I had many different watches as a kid, many 80's casios, I had a Chicago Bulls Bulova in the early 90's, and a couple second hand seiko 5 watches from 70's, but I think the first watch I ever actually bough was that hiddeous fossil big tic matrix watch that came out around 2000. I still have it, but I cracked the crystal many years ago. Looked like this.

Still runs reasonably well, all I’ve done is replaced the crystal
