If you are not fully into the reverso dont do it. 

If you always wanted it, watched alot of videos and when a reverso was shown you felt the binding, do it.

It depends on the quality of the watch. Throw the cheapest away and if there is an average quality one you would not want to dump just replace the dial.

I never saw a working GS under 1k. You have to look at the japanese market I guess. Some ship International. There is this timepeaks site where you can bet on watches in Japan. A watchmaker from the company inspects the watch and sends it to you. But i have no experience with them.
