After eight years i finally got it back. 1909 Keystone Howard.
You think you have had it at the shop for a while? I dropped this off in 2016 just before everything fell apart. By the time I was able to pay for it. (sort of) it was 2023. I just picked it up today. My great grandfathers pocket watch. I hope its tasty. It just killed my bank account. Seriously, I may end up at the food shelf this month. This was dumb. I'm going to be begging my partner for gas money this month........... "scratches are the CRYSTAL not the face, looking for my polish"

I particularly like the orientation of the minute numerals as the vast majority of other Montgomery dials were oriented per below (stock pic) which by virtue of familiarity is less interesting than yours which also looks neater somehow - I think it has better radial symmetry.

The long term goal is my brother pays me for the service and it goes to my nephew as I don't have anybody to pass it to. I like My Illinois better anyway. (It will be his great, great grandfather's watch.)

I’m genuinely sorry that you’re skint out of the deal. In truth, I can share your feelings. I’ve have a very interesting life thus far, and the downs are real, but like everything, all a part of the joy in living.
