About 90% of my watches.

This is about 90% of my watches. I think there are another five our so rattling around here somewhere. Maybe 4-5 are actually worth anything, but its a labor of love, not commerce. But it proves you can have fun in the hobby without money. Like it says in Garden Party "You can't please everyone so you gotta please yourself"

That thing was so cheap the metal made my wrist blister. If I ever wear it again I need to put clear tape on the back.

When I was in China, years ago, I bought about half a dozen of the Mao watches as souvenirs for friends back home. They were dirt cheap. Most broke very quickly, but I still have one that I have never tried to wind and have never worn.

Is that an original Bulova Spaceview, does it keep time? I owned a few but gave up getting them serviced properly.

The factory ones had a chapter ring. The early jewelry store ones were converted. I had this one rebuilt by a pro with Accutron experience. I provided him with the correct style early hands, crystal and dial spacer. Most of the ones on eBay are junk. They don’t service them properly, use the wrong crystal, or worst of all use regular hands and PAINT them!

I wore the red one for months and its fine. Had it for years and it still works. The blue one is a bit wonky. They tend to be hit and miss.
