Never was too thrilled with the Pepsi bezel on my Orient so I got a lumed ceramic from Long Island Watch. Tip: use a knife blade to remove Orient beze...
I scratched the case all to hell trying to do it the "proper" way. Use a small, sharp knife to get under the original Orient bezel. It shocked me how easily a Leatherman Micra blade defeated it after 30 minutes of swearing at the damage I'd already inflicted.
Action is much improved, but I don't know how much of that was cleaning and tweaking the existing spring (the replacement bezel doesn't include a spring). Purchase is definitely better, but I also switched from sub on the original to coin edge which feels taller even though it's still flush with the crystal.
It's very close. Unfortunately, I had no idea what I was doing when I purchased this watch; I'm absolutely not a fan of faux patina. The bezel insert is C3 which is doesn't exhibit tint in light, so there's a bit of a mismatch there.
Long Island Watch offers 2 models of replacement bezel (coin edge & sub) that fit Orient but also accept SKX bezel inserts. That really opens up the possible combinations.
