I'm a quartz lover but, despite know that Oysterquartz and other high end quartz watches are a thing, it sort of surprises me to see something besides the dinky plastic-encased movements that I am used to.
The design and architecture of a well crafted quartz watch can be just as beautiful as a mechanical movement. I have a quartz Movado from the 90's I think with nicer perlage than any mechanical watch I own and it's under a closed caseback.

Not all quatz are cheap rubbish and the grand seiko quatz is superb most mechanical watch’s don’t come close to the finishing
