Leica watch ZM11

Have a chance to try Leica watch ZM11 in Titanium case and bracelet today.

The bracelet and case have feel of Moser Streamliner meanwhile the movement is made by Chronode…

I know many would say that for the price of $11K SGD, we can obtain many established brands… But for watch with Chronode movement inside.. this still relatively a steal?.. tell me what u guys think.. yay or nay?

I thought the same. The price is reasonable for what you are getting. Especially when you compare it to the prices other manufacturers are charging for their watches.

Unfortunately there is no Leica store nearby to try these on.

I think Leica has come out with some amazing looking models with it's return to watchmaking. However, the price is steep; so this may become an aspirational watch as I read/see more about them within the watch community online.

It’s a fantastic watch, and if I hadn’t already blown my watch budget for the year I would probably be looking to buy one.

Lots of watches costing less that are equally, if not more, desireable.

I’m just a peasant but just the fact that Leica make a watch is fabulous news to me. Don’t have the money for that kind of watch but I can imagine spending that much on one.

I think they are doing some very interesting things, but none of it really speaks to me personally. I do admire the chances they are taking from a design and engineering perspective. But, really don't like the band. And I'm torn about the Chronode choice for a movement, I think it's definitely an interesting choice, and Chronode has done some very good work with MB&F and Czapek. That being said, starting off with a more mainstream movement might have been a better choice to get people acquainted to the brand. But maybe that is their point.

Honestly, the bracelet need more curvature or smaller diameter to fit most people. Integrated bracelet is always a miss or hit for some people, this is probably why their popularity went away, don't know why they are making a come back.

But for the look, prefer moser with more organic design.

I think the design is absolutely timeless
