Agreed. The Apple watch, doesn't look like a watch, looks like a small tablet. However, Garmin, Samsung, Suunto, GShock etc, although 'computer' watches, still look and feel like a watch.
I used to put any strap I want on any watch. Then I started looking at my collection and going it just looks odd to have leather on a diver or rubber on a chrono or NATO on a dress watch. Get my drift,
I just think that divers should be bracelet or rubber or Nato, Chronos should be leather or bracelet and dress should be leather. Just my opinion.
Now appropriate strap, bracelet on the appropriate style watch.
