The short lived miracle
There are miracles that are obviously the result of divine intervention, but these are in short supply and what happened today can only be described as very minor on the miraculous scale.
Still, I'll take what is offered because today was one of these rare occasions when I managed to catch a legible shot of the GM-S5600 negative display.
Unfortunately this photography miracle was very short lived since it only took a slight movement of my wrist to return the display to its usual dark and murky state.
My little blingy G-Shock is the only watch that I own where it's easier to spot the scratches and smudges on the case, than it's to read the time.
I'm a big fan of watches that are interesting because they are either unique, have interesting features, well designed or simply offer a great value for their price.
Like an image of the messiah seen in the clouds or the stain left on a napkin, the time on that watch taunts you with a brief glimpse of the divine.
It’s so shiny that it might get a scratch if you breathed on it 🤣
