Resting on my Lorier

I'm feeling lazy today and decided that I don't want to invest the effort to set the date on my watch.

Sure, I could wear again the M5610 as its perpetual calendar is February proof. Alternatively, I can wear a no date watch and decide that I did enough hard thinking for today.

With no date to set and an MN strap that never need to be resized, the Lorier Safari is just what I need for a stress free lazy morning. Its 369 dial with broad arrow and sword's hands is also legible enough to prevent me from having to tire myself deciphering the time.

In a few minutes I'll have to wrap up and get ready for a day of work, but in the meantime I think that the Lorier and I will just rest, relax, and enjoy the warm winter sun for a bit more time.

Beautiful watch and great pics! 🍻 Looks nice and quiet, right up my alley.

Thank you. I placed my order with Lorier and had to wait for close to 6 months until it was delivered, therefore it was one of the last watches I got for 2022. There were two versions of the Safari, the copper dial that is mine and a white dial that looks very classy. I don't know if Lorier plan a second run of the Safari but it might be worth your while to ask them, they are just one email away after all.

Although I like white dials, that copper is unusual and eye-catching! I wonder if anyone has ever made a dial of actual copper - hammered copper, in particular? That would be interesting too.
