An MN a day will keep the Perlon (and NATO) away

I just realized that quite a few of my watches are fitted with excellent MN style straps from Erika's Originals. The copper dial Lorier Safari that I'm wearing today feature a khaki/drab green MN Original with a bronze buckle matching (IMO of course) the orange strip on the strap and the watch copper dial.

The Safari came originally with a Perlon strap that was the worst or at least a very strong contender for the worst strap I ever had the misfortune to handle. OTOH, the MN strap from Erika's Originals is exactly what was needed to redeem the Safari because it looks good and is easy to fit, while still being very comfortable to wear. The optional bronze hardware is also adding a lot of character and help in toning down the overall high polish steel finish of the case.

The bright sun is helping me with taking advantage of the acrylic crystal for a quick shot showcasing the polish of the Lorier's case. This shot would have been impossible if it had a sapphire hat, no matter how much AR coating was slapped over it.

The Safari is 36mm in diameter, which is a very good size for me, and with the Erika's strap is fits snugly and comfortably on my wrist. It's really a very good alternative to the NDC strap (which I don't like) and NATO (which I simply hate).
