Man down, man down.

Is this repairable?

If you can pop the movement, it's not that tricky to reattach. Or just discard the hand if you prefer.

Can you open the case back? If so, you'll probably see a little marking of an arrow or "press here" on the movement around where the stem enters. Press that and pull crown. Then the movement with dial should be able to be shaken out of case. The hand is just press fit back on. Ideally, use a tweezer to line up and push lightly at center. Avoid bending hand or it will hit the others. The only other thing to do besides "assembly is reverse of disassembly" is to depress the little contact switches so they act as springs for the pushers.

A local jeweler will probably charge ~$30 for this, but it's fairly quick and not elaborate. Heck, I figured out how to do most of this by trial and error. I'm assuming this is quartz because Fossil chronograph. If not, ignore all of this.

It probably came loose when it fell, if you're a bit skilled you can fix it at home by opening the back case, removing the movement and attaching the hand back to its place but I don't know if the movement suffered any damage also

I have idea🤷🏽

I think I would rather buy a new watch instead of having it repaired or not?

Assuming one can pop the back off without spending money, there's nothing to lose by having a looksee. It's an opportunity to overcome a little fear of the unknown and learn a little something. If this is a snap back case, it pops off with a butter knife.

The dang springbar, assuming it's gone missing or damaged, is one of those things that almost any jeweler will just replace in half a minute at no cost. Heck, I'd do it for anyone.

·

Buy a new watch because everyone wants a new watch. Then have a go at fixing this one. Worst case scenario you cock it up but you still have a new watch. Best case scenario you have your new watch and also your old one. 🤷‍♂

This back of the watch I have to screw it of

Yeah, it's not really worth buying a case back tool unless you plan to do it frequently. You can try pushing and twisting with a tennis ball or whatever, or mar the hell out of it by playing with pliers or something. The right tool makes it much easier, but that's a dicey investment just for this.

·

I’d try to open the back and remove the movement and carefully reinstall with some tweezers.

·

I would repair myself because I have the tools and experience, if you don’t, take it to a jewellers it should be easily repairable 👍🏻
