Orient Defender II
Dug into my collection this morning and ran across this watch; my Orient Defender II. I think this was a great update to the Defender and is a great entry-level automatic field watch. It no longer has a 4:00 crown, but it now has hacking and hand-winding,

I will definitely be getting one of these. Obviously upgrade on the first defender but I do much prefer the 4 o'clock crown?

Yes, that is the only change I would not have made; I would have kept the 4:00 crown. Not quite sure why they moved it to the 3:00 position.
Totally agree. I reckon nearly every watch looks better with the crown at 4 o clock. I'm not sure why though!
