The chosen was… neither?

My poll a while back got many votes as to what of those watches to purchase. Thank you to everyone who voted. In the end, it seems I have gone down a different road entirely. And so enter, this citizen eco drive. It’s actually my second citizen, and eco drive after my avion chronograph. This one is referred to as the “Corso”. While style wise, it does share some similarities dial wise to the avion (in both the full numbered hours, and 5 min marks). Beyond that however it is much dressier than anything I’ve picked up in the past. So far it’s much slimmer, and a smaller case all around. I’ve gone and put it on this Milanese strap. That could change in the future, but who knows at this point. The case it’s all polished. And it’s got a day/ date function (I think it’s referred to as a perpetual calendar, but correct me if I’m wrong). The mineral crystal has a nice doming to it that reminds me of that “vintage” style to some extent. Plus because of the way the dial is made for the solar unit. The numbers have this effect of kind of floating in a way.

Overall it’s a beautiful piece, and I think I’m going to be happy with in the long run. Cheers all 🍻
