Classic Bauhaus

This Junghans max bill Chronoscope was my first 'proper' watch and my only ever grail. I used to regularly go and stare at this in the window of a small jewellers in Victoria, London. I couldn't imagine spending so much on a watch in those days (I had a Citizen Ecodrive then, I think), but managed to get a huge discount (around 30%) from a tiny AD when passing through Frankfurt on holiday.

Great piece!  You have it on an unusual bracelet, which looks quite nice indeed.

Thank you - yes, this is a cheap expander bracelet I got on Ebay (about £15). I like this style, despite hairy forearms! Quite a few straps go well with this. I also have the Junghans milanese, but I've gone off thin, tight mesh.

I went with the Milanese, but frankly I like the retro look of your bracelet, heh.

Very nice piece! I've lusted for this one for a long time but settled for their Form C quartz version. 😔

I don't wear mine enough!

Love how Junghans is able to make a chronograph look so minimalist and elegant (excuse me for reusing this photo yet again)
