Not to be facetious, but I like to think I'm both. Despite have a very narrow focus as a collector, I fully appreciate and enjoy ALL watches.

It's actually quite a special quartz watch that "sleeps", and then when you wake it up, goes right back to the correct time. Ridiculously overpriced now, but those could be had at one point pre-owned for less than 10k. It's a movement that took almost a decade to develop.

No worries, I don't really get much in the way of modern watch design, particularly from the holy trinity.

Most of my collection is vintage; the "delicateness" is overblown in my experience, if one just uses some basic common sense.
