This Week's Watches.
It's been two weeks since I did a post for my watches for the week. The focus of this series is to gain a new appreciation for my watches and challenge the need to buy a new watch by re-examing my collection. Next week I thought would be the last in the series, but I just found my stash of digital watches worn during combat deployments, so that will be forthcoming. Anyway this week's are as follows.
The Seiko SRPD-25 4th Gen Monster blue dial on the Strap Mill Canada Japanese inspired pattern strap NATO. These straps are incredibly well made and super soft. The pattern is a derivative of the Hokusai Great Wave.
Middle is the Glycine Airman Base 22 GMT on the ZuluDiver sail cloth. This watch has two sets of holes in each lug to fit a strap closer or further from the case. Calling it a GMT goes without saying for an Airman with this one covering 3 time zones. Although a desk GMT, I often deal with worldwide coordination, so this is at a glance clutch.
Last is the SKZ211J1 Atlas on a Watch MOD padded rubber strap. This was the watch that confirmed I love Seikos and hate Seiko bracelets. Non-hacking or hand winding, I do the Seiko shuffle with this one and love it. BTW, most people don't understand why the compass bezel crown is so loose. It's so you can single finger adjust the crown on wrist while taking a fix on position.
All of these are 200m water resistant (a bad sign for a pilots GMT I know) and built for land, sea, and air. Good pieces that run like tops and I've taken into the ocean.

Yeah, the Strap Mill Canada was a great find. I love what it does for that Monster.
