Got a cool Timex
I've been eyeing a few different Timex watches but didn't want spend more than 90 bucks on one. I wasn't feeling the selection at the target for me, the analogs were more plain weekender, easy reader types and no digital. Cool metal expedition with orange second hand, but too expensive, maybe for 30 bucks not 40. Saw this at a Nordstrom Rack for 80 and went for it. I really dig the clearly retro look. It reminds me of work by the artist Shag. I think I'll try to track down a leather band for this one, 30M WR, try not to get it wet. The squares aren't lumed, but the whole thing lights up! Cool domed crystal, glass. Bezel action hearty, I like it, a bit clunky. Everything lines up mostly. Super legible, easy to read. Band okay, but nice shiny buckle. Lighter than expected. Slim!

A rare instance of a contrasting date wheel with coherence. I'm not fond of the printed border around the window though. Others may scoff at something called Marine Sport being, you know, merely splash proof, but I doubt anyone would ever notice. Day, date, Indiglo and a bezel is a good number of toys.
