Just want to share pics of before & after modding my Vostok Amphibia. Have a lot of fun brushing the bezel & the case, using only a scotchbrite!

Is that paint loss on the bezel or a lighting issue? I believe this was done by hand, but if the bezel could have been chucked in a drill or lathe, it would have taken almost no time to do.

Yes, I brushed it manually with hands. And yes, I accidently chip the paint on the bezel. Next I think I’m gonna try to repaint it with a Tamiya paint.
Using the scotchbrite, it only took like 5 minutes. Took some patience and care, or else like me, losing the paint on the bezel 😜
I dig the brushed look.
Good to know. Get some paint to touch, just in case. Looks good. I like it. I might have to do this myself.

Will do. Actually that’s my next problem, I need another Vostok to experiment with 😜
Looks clean, might try this myself!

Yes, price wise we can get another to mod. Too bad nowadays it’s hard to get one in my country. And since the war started, it’s harder to order directly from Rusia.
Have fun modding yours!

I stripped the paint all together for a clean stainless appearance that looks totally tool with the radial brushing

Thanks a lot! Kinda like rendering with a color pencil.

That looks dope! More industrial.
I did the same with my bezel, thanks for the inspiration.
