Is there Customs Cost For Yema/Serica Once in US?

Love both these watches. Please, if anyone in US has received recent one of this two watches, let us know if you paid customs fees to the delivery / shipping group once arrived on US soul?

It will vary depending on how they ship, customs, etc. I have ordered many watches from overseas, and only one got flagged. Neither of these are at a price where they will likely get hit. I did not pay anything on my Serica. Again, YMMV.

The Serica is awesome. It’s a nicer version of a khaki field and fits great. Very nice people as well.

My understanding and experience is that if the watch is under $800 there's no duty. Over that and and the duty is around the same as sales tax.

I could dig up the exact details, if you need them.

So far it looks like it’s random or the amount is below that of custom fees

Fabulous!

I purchased one of the Serica field watches and was not charged for US customs. The cutoff is >$800, if I'm not mistaken, and those aren't that expensive.

Never was hit by Customs on a Yema. The last one I owned I donated to @HotWatchChick69 watch auction for charity. A very happy WC cruncher still wears it. Go for both and enjoy!

Four watches from Europe, two under $1000 and two above. The two above got held up in customs for duty. I had to fill out a watch clock worksheet, which requires you to break down cost of watch by case, movement, and strap, as well as identity a few other basic facts. In both cases I reached out to sellers (Baltic and Maen) and they responded within 24hrs to help complete form for me. Yay microbrands. The duty was less than $100 per watch.

If it has a declared value >$800 I believe it pays import tariff. Some companies will automatically add state sales tax, which is annoying. Don’t know about Yema
