Pulled out the Omega dress watch today

I hadn't put this on for a week or so and thought I would give it a spin. Quick set date makes it easy to pick up. My favorite part of this one is the crystal is original and has the etched Omega ๐Ÿ˜.

What are some of your favorite watches in your collection?ย

By god man, that's a pretty one. Love the classic, clean look.

This is one of my absolute favorites!

I originally wanted to get the Casino Royale Planet Ocean, but it was crazy heavy and flopped around on my thin wrist.

So, had to go with the titanium version. ย It's crazy big and crazy thick, but due to the titanium, it weighs next to nothing and is super comfortable. ย I wish more watches had titanium options!

Great strap pairing - look fantastic and timeless! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Wow thatโ€™s a stunner. I really want an Omega just like this one day. Even though Iโ€™m a fan of modern Omegas, I think their designs peaked in this vintage era.

Also, who did you buy this watch from? Would you suggest them? As the saying goes for vintage watches: buy the seller, not the watch.

I agree that Vintage Omega design language is pretty amazing! Surprisingly, this one was from Ebay. I found it with some serious time left on the clock so I was able to dig into the research and verify a lot of the parts before placing a bid.ย

I have bought from Omega Enthusiast before and he does some great stuff. A little pricier though compared to some other sites depending on what you are looking to spend.ย

I've got the same watch,(manual wind omega geneve) it was my late fathers. I love it a lot but rarely wear it for fear of damaging or (heaven forbid) losing it. All i don't like about it is to change the date you have to keep pulling on the crown to make the numbers advance, definitely not a good idea? The watch itself is over fifty years old, i had it sympathetically restored and serviced a few years ago. Ive got it on a plain black leather strap but it was originally on an expanding bracelet. I don't know how my dad tolerated this as we both have very hairy arms and it was torturous!
