Want to add a Hamilton to the collection but which one?

Hi watch fam

After over 30 years of watch collecting I have never handled or purchased or even looked into the Hamilton brand.  Going to be honest, I only concentrated on a few brands and vintage when I started and then went straight into haute horology and independents. But recently, with Hamilton getting a lot of positive coverage, I would like to add one or two to the collection.

Wanted to ask my watch fam for some advice and opinions to which one I should consider.  I have been drawn to the scuba syrcoco special edition and the titanium 38mm with the green sector dial.  Any advice would be much appreciated received.  🙏 many thanks

Next to Rolex Hamilton is my favorite brand. I own several including some 1950s tank watches in solid gold. These are two of my favorite: Hamilton Khaki Day Date H64455523. Hamilton Ventura H24411732.

I have 2 Hamilton, and I really like both. The Pilot Day Date and the Khaki Day Date. Both look great on a variety of straps, have excellent power reserves. If anyone wonders the pilot ends up on my wrist more often. My only gripes are the absolute lack of ar coating and the lume could be a lot better.

Yeah I like it. I have mine on a black DiModel leather band. I think it looks a lot better on a black band.

The pilot is 42mm and the Khaki is 40mm. Lug size on both are 20 mm

I hear vintage Hamiltons are very nice to own at relatively affordable prices.

Love these.  So many to choose from.  Probably need to find a boutique and spend a lengthy amount of time there
