Hi,
Found the watch pictured in a cupboard at my Dad's place. I think it may have once belonged to his father.
I can find very little online about Friedli.
Can anyone help with info' about the company and possibly date the watch beyond post WW2?
Cheers Baz

Late 40s. Friedli trademark is 1947
Pop the back.
Unfortunately I'm now 80 miles away from the watch. I'll have a look next time I'm there.

@Porthole beat me to it. How did he find it? It is really easy if you know the trick. Although not registered until 1947, they showed at the watch show that would become Baselworld in 1946. They were still making watches into the 1980's but they were never a major brand. I had never heard of them until this post.
Cheers, hadn't come across that site before. Still no further forward though. I'll have to see if my Dad will let me take a closer look at it next time I visit.
Friedli, Swiss made 🎯
Small update. The watch is now in my collection, has been serviced and is running well.
