Bought this watch used. 2 months old and it still had blue plastic in the more remote areas of the clasp. I figured how screwed up could it be? Put it on the timegrapgher and 49 s/d fast and 240 amplitude. Bad. Magnetized? Three passes thru the demagnetizer and look at the results. Wow. Night and day. 2 tools that cost less than the nicer watch screwdriver sets. If you are on the fence, a timegrapher and demagnetizer are great tools.

What kind of demagnetizer do you have? I’ve got a similar timegrapher but haven’t seen much info on consumer demagnetizers.

Just the 19usd one from Amazon. Watched YouTube on how to and it was the same thing the pro had. Stick the watch in the cavity, push the green button, slowly withdraw the watch. Do it about 3-4 times.
Fantastic watch as well!
