Nomos
After spending a few idle moments at the office browsing the Nomos site, I started to fall for the newish Nomos Club Sport 39.
While Nomos dials are typically matte, which I find underwhelming, I was very much drawn to the new series of Club Sport 39 dials in three different sunburst dials: Ember, Smoke and Tabac.
So I stopped at the AD on the way home and tried on the Ember, which was my favourite online.
Unfortunately, I found it was a let down in person. For me, the colour doesn't suit my skin tone. I find the whole package too washed out.
However, before leaving the Metro Neomatic Update 41 caught my eye. This is a piece that I have never been drawn to until I looked at in the metal today.
So I gave it a test run and I have to admit, I love it! The dial is a beautiful grained silver and the date function is truly unique and fun to manipulate (it goes backwards and forwards with very smooth and satisfying action).
So without ever having been on my radar, I've now fallen for this piece.
Yet another example of how you really need to try before you buy whenever possible.
Anyone out there have the Metro 41 Update?

I don’t have a #nomos in my collection because I think they have so many great watches that I can’t decide and put my finger on which one I like most. For me, between these 2 that you shared I prefer the neomatic metro 41. The dial and lugs are what sway me towards the metro 41, it’s unmistakably #nomos

I love the subtle and elegant date function on the Nomos Metro. I just picked up the Club Campus but I don’t it will be my only Nomos.
