Soviet watch on NATO strap
I did not buy this from either Russia or Ukraine. Most of my Soviet era watches I have bought from Ukraine.
This is a 1980's Slava. Slava was always a civilian watch. Based on the use of Cyrillic alphabet this watch was probably produced for domestic consumption.
I could not decide on what kind of strap would look good on this so I ordered a selection. This was the least worst. I am not much of a NATO guy, but I think that the color highlights the decorative chapter ring (a kind of wan yellow).

I think the NATO works fine both in color and style. Also great statement with a NATO on a watch from Russia or former Sovjetunion these days👍
