I have been previously spoiled by BGW-9 & Seiko's Lumibrite on my other divers. I use Lume quite often at night as a tool.
My Baltic Aquascaphe however has Super Luminova C1 but more of an old Radium style in application.
The patina designed handset & markers are bright at first but very fade quickly and are barely visible after 10+ minutes.
Initial charge:
5 minutes elapsed and so on:
I think I just have to set my expectations for this diver. The artificial patina look is cohesive with the watches overall design.
Do I wish that Baltic tried to use a brighter Lume, or apply more layers? Yes.
Can I live without it? Yes.
It's a small criticism for an overall fantastic watch, I'll live.
At this stage in my watch addiction, I really enjoy Lume. It excites my monkey brain. Maybe this will change overtime and I may not value it as highly.
If anything, It's further reason to use my other tool watch divers at night as a flashlight instead.
Note: I turned off my night sight long exposure setting on my cellphone camera. The images are pretty accurate to what my eye sees.

My latest purchase had the option of lume or no lume depending on the colour you chose. I chose a model with no lume. I have plenty of watches with lume if I think I’ll need that feature.
Just saying.....

lume is nice but backlight or Indiglo is best. A lot of big brands suck at lume where Seiko and Rolex rule.
