I see watches as a reflection of personality, good taste and important part of a thoughtful outfit rather than power, investment or showing off bank statements.

I think this dilemma comes to a solid question.... What's the value perception from your side? In short, Omega is a better value for money to me. Specs, design, value retention, availability, etc. I would go with Omega full stop. I ended up realizing that every single watch I get should be a result of a thoughtful decision based on the happiness it gives me when wearing it on my wrist, also must be a good looking watch for me rather than pretending the watch is gorgeous just because the cost, rare/unique piece, or "status" it suppose to shine on my wrist.
